You can grow old & wrinkled on your own BUT me, I need more botox from Dr Keith Ong...lol....

I'm surprise that people do read my blog! WOW !!!!
I'll try to make an effort of updating my blog more often.
Some of you email me, thanks... I hear you...
Getting older for anyone is really no joke, a total drag if you ask me. The worst is I don't even feel old at all- only the body ' acts ' otherwise!!!!.... mind & body just don't align!

Some of you said I'm advocating putting poison into the face. To that I say: HELLO... that's my face. You can grow old & wrinkled & saggy all you like, but on your own- I'm sure your husband, your enemies, your BFF .... will all love it.....lol.....!

However there's a large number of us who wants to stay attractive for as long as possible!!! Be it for our own self esteem or for our husbands sake (men loves having someone attractive beside them, it does reflect status & accomplishment to a certain degree!!!) , maybe you just want to look better than your BFF, or even your own 'younger' sister......lol.....sometimes the job needs it. You could be holding a high position job by now & you do not want to look like a frumpy old Aunty right????

If you look at all the old people don't you think they look a bit sad? Well, it's that damn combo of gravity & aging skin again, that's acting on the area around the mouth & creating what looks like a perpetual frown. I'm serious, I'm starting to feel that a couple of years back already. I call it the bull dog effect! I told Dr & he couldn't help but laugh out loud!!!! I think the whole clinic could hear us roaring with laughter!!!! Had a good time.

What Dr Keith Ong did was inject some botox to rectify that- NO frowns for me people....ever !!! You'll NEVER catch me frowning  "naturally", looking like some old lady... I tell you!

  2. Hi Socialite, chance upon your nice blog when I was googling for some tips for our age group :)
May I know when do you first started doing these procedures? I'm already in my late 40s, is it too late?
I see lines & wrinkles & my husband seems to be looking younger & younger than me.
    I'm losing my confidence.
Feel I need to do something fast...haha...

  3. Hi Socialite, do you do on the spot after the first consult or make another appointment for the actual procedure?

    1. I do it immediately on the same day. I think most people do that. I assume you've never done any of these procedures before?

    2. Haha... you are right, never done anything before, a total newbie. I've been researching a fair bit already. Your reviews are fun...haha...

Never like my nose, so I have been thinking of doing something about it.

My younger sis ask me to check out your site. She has been asking me to do something asap for as long as I can remember haha...

Sigh.... you have brought out some very valid points. I'm not that old yet but stress has taken a toil on my once lovey skin. I seem to be looking older than my partner! I'm a semi-young person with frown lines on my forehead!!!!! I've just call your doctor for an appointment. Hope he can help! thanks.

  5. Hi Socialite, another blogger recommended your site. Fun stuff you get going here! You made doing botox & fillers cool!
You know , many people including some of my best buddies swear by no alternation to the face! Well I'm tired of mine! My bf just dump me for a prettier girl, so here I am! Thinking of doing this nose filler :-)

  6. Hi, I don't want to grow old & wrinkle ...lol... so what I do?
Do I have to tell the doctor what I want when I am there or ...?
I have lines around my eyes !!!!!

    1. During consult, you can just tell dr your concerns & see what he has to say that's all. He'll assess & advice on what to do. What I like about this doc is he don't push you to do what's not necessary.

  7. Sigh.... , my heart & mind is so alive & young but the flesh speaks otherwise! Gravity is raging a war on my face! So Socialite if I mention you, will your doctor give me a good price for a total over haul ?

I just did my forehead with Dr Ong.

Amazing this botox can do, the lines disappear! Dr Ong is good, he did it so fast, no pain & before I know it, it's over- pleasantly surprise!

  9. Hi if you do this botox & after that you stop doing, what will happen? Will you get more wrinkles?

    ReplyDelete

    1. When you stop, you'll just return to what you look like before- that's all.
You wont get more wrinkles because of botox :)

  10. Hi Socialite, just wondering what is the average age people start doing this botox thingie? I'm in my thirties, is that too early? But I do see some changes to my face, I look rather haggard now :((

    1. It depends on what you want to do. Like many young girls who want the face to look slimmer, start doing this pretty young. Nose filler is also another popular thing that younger people do.
As for aging lines & wrinkles maybe ard 40.
If you look haggard at 30s, maybe all you need is to eat right & sleep well?

    2. Thanks, I'm thinking of doing nose filler & also fill up my cheeks. Friends said that'll make me look fresher & more alive especially the cheeks part- mine looks sunken, so I look older than my age :((

  11. Is 30 too young to go for this ? Ugly lines are appearing on my face! I looked much older than my bf !

    1. Sometimes it's just a matter of proper food, proper exfoliation once a while & lots of rest- cut out stress. 30 is young for the usual 'age-related' lines, could be stress related. Anyway it's good to check out with doctor.

    2. Thks Socialite for the advice, I really do have lines. Some are definitely from stress but they wont go away no matter what. That's the reason why I'm considering some 'work' to be done. I really do look much older than my age :(

By the way I've just book an app with your doctor. Hope he can help me- so depress & stress now :(
