I'm A big Fan of Botox & Fillers

I'm a big fan because i've seen results on my own face, as well as on my peers & friends' faces. I think they are the best weapons we have in our anti-aging fight!

I've Botox injected in my forehead, around my eyes. Some fillers to lift up my cheekbones & create a more define chin.. At my age, I wouldnt look this good without the help of these treatments.

I've been doing fillers & botox for 8 years and since I've been doing them, I've not age a bit! It's amazing how much mileage you can get out of these procedures.

  1. Hi Socialite!!! it's me visiting.... you've a great blog! Love what you've written. Question, how do you prevent the waxy look that some of those Amercian celebs have? NOt sure you remember how Meg Ryan looks like when she was younger, so cute & fresh & the last few years she looks horrible!

    1. Thanks dear...... & I sure do remember how she looks, I love her. Hers was a result of over-done everything! I've got a feeling she wanted so badly to retain that youth that made her so adroable in the first place- that she probably demand that her doc pump up everything!

You just cant over do things! It never works. You have to correct until a point where you look natural. I'm sure she went to the best doctor in America, I'm sure the doctor try to tell her. BUT sometimes in a person's zest to look better, they just wanted more. Luckily these procedures are not permanent, so hopefully she learnt her lesson.

  2. Morning.... was waiting for you to get online haha.... Actually I'm also afraid of doctors overdoing. I once saw on Oprah a lady who's very pretty looks like Julia Roberts but she very crazy, went for numerous (over 20) plastic surgery until her look is waxy & stunned & very different from her foprmer beautiful self. So sad lah...

  3. Morning Britta.... ya, I saw that episode too- it's a few years back. I always remember that, it was so shocking!!! She's blonde & 30 something right? That's plastic surgery. That's why I prefer to do botox & fillers, less permanent. If you dont like, half a year later, you are back to your former self! BUT that particular lady , something wrong up there... she just cant stop!

    2. First of all go to someone that has been tested. Tell the doctor clearly what you want to achieve. Then listen to what he recommend. Rule of the thumb here is : Less is always better than more! If the doc keeps pushing you to do things you are not comfortable with.... RUN....lol...

Also beware of friends , sometimes they are the worst critics!

    3. I get what you mean... my friends always condem those who 'fix' their face!

    4. And if you bring these people along, they'll make all the negative comments until you give up! I'm serious. Way Back when I first started doing botox & fillers, I've this friend who'll constantly say things like why "poison" the face etc...etc... so bloody irritating that woman! I stop seeing her... such negative vibes... Last I hear she went lipo...haha...

    1. My take on this is... if it's only an enhancement, seriously why not? That's the evolution of the beauty industry.
